Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Kursk II nuclear power plant (NPP) that is currently under construction, the Kremlin said on Wednesday, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
"In the city of Kurchatov, Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the heads of municipalities of the Kursk Region. In addition, the president visited the Kursk NPP-2 under construction," the Kremlin said in a statement.
Putin also held a meeting with the acting governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein, the statement read.
