Washington: The FBI has tightened the noose on Khalistani terrorists and gangsters who are absconding from India and are sitting in America. According to the information, the FBI and local agencies took a major action in San Joaquin County, California.

8 pro-Khalistan gangsters of Indian origin were arrested in this operation conducted with the help of SWAT teams of Stockton, Manteca and Stanislaus County and the FBI's Special Unit.

This action is considered important in the direction of curbing the Khalistani network. The arrested accused include pro-Khalistan Dilpreet Singh, Arshpreet Singh, Amritpal Singh, Vishal, Pavitra Singh alias Pavitra Batala, Gurtaj Singh, Manpreet Randhawa and Sarabjit Singh. Separate criminal cases have been registered against all of them.

Serious charges like kidnapping, torture, illegal imprisonment, criminal conspiracy, intimidating witnesses, attack with semi-automatic weapon, threat to spread terror, cases under Gang Act, possession of large quantity of illegal weapons, possession of machine guns and assault rifles, manufacturing of short-barrel rifles and selling illegal magazines have been registered against all of them. After interrogating all the accused, they have been shifted to a jail in the US.

Police had issued a red corner notice against Pavitra 6 months ago

Pavitra Singh alias Pavitra Batala, involved in cases of murder, attempted murder, arms smuggling and extortion in Majha region of Punjab, has been arrested by the FBI in the US. Batala police had issued a red corner notice against him about six months ago.

Pavitra Singh is wanted in 6 cases registered in Amritsar police district and 2 cases registered in Batala police district. Pavitra Singh alias Pavitra Batala is associated with Babbar Khalsa International. He was running terrorist activities along with Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Rode.
