President Trump shared information about the operation on his social media platform, Truth Social. He wrote that the US military precisely targeted ISIS strongholds. Trump said that this operation demonstrates America's military strength and its commitment against terrorism.
Trump leveled serious accusations against the ISIS terrorists, stating that the terrorist group was targeting and killing innocent Christians in the region. According to him, the level of this violence had not been seen in many years, even centuries. The president said that this religiously motivated violence cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
In his statement, the US president said that he had previously warned these terrorists. According to Trump, he had clearly stated that if the killing of Christians did not stop, the US would take strong action. He wrote, "I warned that if the slaughter continued, there would be serious consequences, and that's what happened tonight."
Trump called the operation a "perfect strike" by the US military. He said that the US Department of Defense carried out extremely precise airstrikes, destroying several terrorist strongholds. Trump claimed that only the United States possesses this kind of military capability.
