New Delhi: While emphasizing the strong relations between India and the US, the Israeli prime minister said that the two countries should work together to resolve trade issues, especially tariffs. He said this during an interaction with Indian journalists.

PM Netanyahu also ludicrously said that he would personally give some advice to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on how to negotiate with US President Donald Trump, as both of them are good friends of his.

Netanyahu also highlighted the growing defense cooperation between India and Israel. He said that the military equipment supplied by Israel to India during Operation Sindoor (recent military tension between India and Pakistan) performed well.

He said that Israel tests its military equipment in real war conditions, which proves its quality. He said that the defense cooperation between the two countries is already strong and there is potential to increase it further.

Advance collaboration between India and Israel to combat terrorism

Besides this, Netanyahu stressed combating terrorism and sharing intelligence. He said both India and Israel are facing cross-border terrorism and can work together on this issue.

He proposed that Israel can help strengthen India's surveillance system, especially in the area of aerial surveillance. He said better technology and intelligence are needed to stop terrorists before they strike.

Netanyahu Likely to visit India Soon

Netanyahu also said that he would like to visit India soon, as he misses India. He also expressed his desire to start a direct flight between Bengaluru and Tel Aviv, which will boost travel and trade between the two countries.

Finally, speaking on India-US relations, he said that despite differences between the two countries, the foundation of the relationship is strong and they should find common solutions to issues like tariffs. He said that good relations between India and the US will also be beneficial for Israel, as both the countries are close friends.

In short, Netanyahu expressed his desire to enhance defense, counter-terrorism technology, and economic cooperation with India, as well as his willingness to play a mediating role in India-US relations.
