  • Half a cup of sattu
  • Half a cup of gram flour (besan)
  • 1/3 cup semolina (sooji)
  • Half a cup of yogurt
  • Half an onion (finely chopped)
  • Half a tomato (finely chopped)
  • 1-2 green chilies (finely chopped)
  • 1-2 teaspoons fresh coriander leaves (chopped)

Salt to taste

  • 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • How to make Sattu Chilla?

 

  • First, in a bowl, mix sattu, gram flour, semolina, yogurt, and a little water to make a smooth batter.
  • Now add onion, tomato, green chilies, coriander leaves, and the remaining spices and mix well.
  • Heat a griddle and grease it with a little oil or butter.
  • Pour the batter onto the griddle and spread it in a circular shape. Cook on low heat until golden brown on both sides.
  • Now your hot Sattu Chilla is ready to be served with yogurt and green coriander chutney.
