After The Success of Jantar Mantar Protest, CJP Announces Campaign To Improve Village Schools Nationwide
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke has announced a new nationwide campaign to improve the conditions of government schools in rural India. The campaign will begin on 15th August.
New Delhi: Abhijeet Dipke, Founder and President of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has announced a nationwide movement on Monday, 10th August 2026, to improve government schools in rural India after the successful protest organised at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, against the NEET UG Paper leak, demanding the resignation of the then Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He called out parents to conduct social audits of basic infrastructure and sarpanches to take responsibility for enhancing schools in their villages.
The campaign will be launched on Independence Day, 15 August. The CJP has urged citizens, parents, and village leaders to work together to address what it explains as the “neglect of rural educational infrastructure.”
While sharing a video on social media, Dipke said that he will start the initiative from his village, Hingoli in Maharashtra by approaching the village head and requesting the government school there be improved.

He said, “The coming 15th August is our 80th Independence Day. But, if anything has been neglected or ignored the most in the last 80 years, it is the government schools in our villages.”
CJP President has questioned why India had built a new Parliament and a new Prime Minister’s residence but had not been able to build better schools in villages.
Dipke further said that children in villages still have to walk long distances to attend school and often find basic facilities such as drinking water and washrooms. He highlighted the challenges that are faced by girls due to a lack of washrooms in school premises in rural India.
