New Delhi: During an event in Hyderabad, Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the central government and the BJP.

Regarding Vande Mataram in Parliament, he said that those who never sang Vande Mataram before or after independence, and those who did not like the tricolor flag, are now giving certificates of patriotism.

This statement has sparked a new debate in political circles and put the BJP in the crosshairs.

Hinting at an alliance in South India

Akhilesh Yadav referred to former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and his son K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) as his "constant companions." He said, "KTR and the respected KCR sahib are our companions; I have been with them and will continue to be with them."

According to analysts, this statement indicates the SP's expansion into South India and the possibilities of political alliances. Thus, the SP does not want to limit its political reach only to North India but is also trying to establish a strong foothold in the South.

Akhilesh Yadav also highlighted the objective of the Vision India program. He said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will affect every sector in the coming times. This statement indicates the party's future technological vision and strategy to connect with the youth.

Voter list controversy in UP

In his address, Akhilesh alleged massive irregularities in the voter list of Uttar Pradesh. He said that preparations are being made to remove approximately 3 crore votes, which is a "big conspiracy" against democracy.

Akhilesh linked this to the strategy of implementing the NRC and demanded that the Election Commission make the voter list transparent and immediately stop the removal of any voter's name without reason.
