Anna Hazare Sits on Moun Andolan

Ahilyanagar: Social activist Anna Hazare on July 23 started a maun andolan (silent protest) in Maharashtra’s Ahilyanagar in support of students protesting in Delhi over the NEET UG 2026 paper leak. His protest comes amid the ongoing CJP protest demanding accountability for the exam paper leak and resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

He had requested the central government to address concerns over alleged fractures in the examination system and restore public confidence in the education system. The protests in Delhi have intensified over the past few days, with clashes breaking out between demonstrators and police during the CJP’s parliament march.
