‘Any Time, Any Place’: Centre Makes Fourth Push For Talks As CJP Protest Continues

New Delhi: The Centre on Thursday renewed its appeal to the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) to join discussions over the ongoing student protest, saying it has already sent four formal invitations and remains open to dialogue at any time.

Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said the government was committed to resolving the issue through discussions and that meetings could be held at the convenience of the student representatives.

Govt Says It Is Ready for Talks

Addressing the media, Singh said the latest proposal had been sent to CJP representatives since Wednesday afternoon.

He said both Union Health Minister JP Nadda and he were prepared to personally attend the discussions, which could take place either at Nadda's office or residence.

"We do not stand on prestige. We are ready to meet at any place, at any time. Through dialogue, we can gradually move towards a solution," Singh said.

Fourth Invitation to Protesters

The minister said this was the fourth formal invitation extended to the student body and described it as part of the Centre's continuous efforts to address students' concerns peacefully.

He appealed to the protesters to accept the invitation and participate in constructive discussions.

Government Stresses Student Welfare

According to Singh, the government's priority remains the welfare of students and resolving the ongoing impasse through dialogue rather than confrontation.

The invitation comes as protests over alleged examination paper leaks continue in the national capital, with student groups pressing for accountability and reforms.
