According to the information, the deceased are identified as a 28-year-old Pranil Limbu and his eight-year-old daughter, Samantha Limbu. Pranil Limbu was working on the slope of the hill when suddenly heavy rocks started falling.
The accident happened on Wednesday afternoon when they were working on repairing drinking water pipes near their house.
Death during landslide

Local villagers immediately carried out rescue operations and took Samantha out of the debris and took her to the primary health center, but she died on the way. Pranil's body was later taken out of the ditch with the help of local people and police.

Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA) councilor Keshavraj Pokhrel called the incident very sad and assured all possible help to the family of the deceased. GTA Chief Executive Officer Anit Thapa will also visit the deceased family. Local people are worried about continuous rain and increasing incidents of landslides.
