Ganderbal: Authorities in Ganderbal have issued a public advisory warning of a possible avalanche threat over the next 24 hours, urging residents and tourists to exercise extreme caution.

According to the district administration, the avalanche forecast indicates a medium-intensity risk above 2400 metres, prompting officials to place the region on alert.

People have been advised to avoid venturing into vulnerable areas, including higher reaches, snow-covered slopes, and hilly terrains, until further review.
