Sitapur: Senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan was released from Sitapur jail in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. He walked out of jail after nearly 23 months. Although his release was scheduled for 9 a.m. on Tuesday, it was delayed due to legal reasons.

Azam Khan’s bail delayed due to this reason

According to jail sources, despite being granted bail by the court, Azam Khan was not released that morning because he had not paid the fine imposed by the court.

Meanwhile, his son Adeeb Azam Khan and a large number of supporters arrived at the jail gate to receive him at 9 a.m., but the police did not allow anyone to stay outside the jail.
