New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may release the Class 10 results at any time. Although the board has yet to officially announce the date and time of the results, media reports discussions suggest the results could be declared any time after April 14th. Millions of students are eagerly awaiting their results.

When were the exams held?

This year, the CBSE Class 10 exams were held between February 17th and March 11th, 2026. Since the exams concluded, students and parents have been monitoring the results for updates. Now that the evaluation process is almost complete, the possibility of an early result release has increased.

What is reason for early results?

One of the main reasons for the early release of CBSE results this time is the 'Phase 2 exams'. According to the board's new rules, students who are not satisfied with their marks will be given the opportunity to take an improvement exam. This exam is expected to begin on May 15, 2026. Therefore, the board is planning to declare results by mid-April to provide students with sufficient time.

Check results on these websites

Websites may slow down or crash due to heavy traffic upon release of results. In such cases, students should keep an eye on several options:

cbseresults.nic.in
cbse.gov.in
results.cbse.nic.in

Results can be accessed even without internet

If the website is down, students can check their results via SMS and IVRS (phone call). Additionally, scorecards can also be accessed through the UMANG app. To download digital marksheets on DigiLocker, students need a 6-digit security PIN, which is provided by the school.
