CBSE Class 12 Results 2026: Sudents continue to wait for their board results as DigiLocker and UMANG display “coming soon” alerts, but the board is yet to confirm an official date or time for declaration.

New Delhi: Thousands of students across the country are anxiously waiting for the announcement of CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 as uncertainty over the declaration date continues to grow.

Speculation intensified after both DigiLocker and UMANG displayed notifications stating that the results would be “coming soon”. However, no official confirmation regarding the exact date and time of the result declaration has yet been issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Why Are Students Growing Restless?

Many students took to social media requesting the board to announce a confirmed date instead of keeping the result timeline uncertain.

Several posts online reflected frustration and anxiety among students preparing for entrance examinations and college admissions. Some students criticised the prolonged suspense after DigiLocker’s initial notification appeared more than 20 hours earlier.

The official result portal, cbseresults.nic.in, still does not display any active link for Class 12 results.

What Do DigiLocker And UMANG Show?

Both DigiLocker and UMANG currently carry messages indicating that CBSE Class 12 results will be available soon. However, students are still unable to access scorecards or marksheets through either platform.

Last year, a similar “coming soon” update on DigiLocker was followed by the official declaration of results on the same day, leading many students to expect a similar timeline this year.

• Visit digilocker.gov.in
• or open the DigiLocker app
• Log in using your mobile number or Aadhaar (new users need to register and verify via OTP)
• Link your CBSE details (roll number, school number, admit card ID, or APAAR ID)
• Go to the “Issued Documents” section
• Select “CBSE Class 12 Marksheet 2026”
• View and download the marksheet

Where Will Students Be Able To Check Their Results?

Once announced, students will be able to access their results through multiple official platforms, including cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, DigiLocker, UMANG and SMS services.

To download the marksheet, candidates will need details such as their roll number, school number and admit card ID.

Is An Earlier Result Announcement Expected?

Traditionally, CBSE results are declared during the second or third week of May. However, because of the digital evaluation system introduced this year, many students expected the results to be announced earlier than usual.

So far, the board has not issued any official clarification regarding the delay.
