A total of 1,43,581 students had registered for the compartment exam this year, out of which 1,38,666 students appeared for the exam and 53,201 students, i.e. 38.36%, passed.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 12 compartment exam results on August 1.

Students can check their results on the official website cbseresults.nic.in. With the release of the result, students will be able to apply for verification of marks recorded in their mark sheets from 6 August.

A total of 1,43,581 students had registered for the compartment exam this year, out of which 1,38,666 students appeared for the exam and 53,201 students, i.e. 38.36%, passed.

In the foreign school centres, 938 students registered and 918 appeared, out of which 486 students passed. The pass percentage was 52.94 per cent.

Girls perform better than boys this time too. The pass percentage of girls was 41.35 per cent, while that of boys was 36.79 per cent, i.e. girls outperformed boys by 4.56 per cent. A total of 278 students applied in the category of students with special needs (CWSN), out of which 273 appeared in the exam and 137 passed, making their pass percentage 50.18%.

According to the information given by the board, the compartment exams were conducted on July 15 in 26 centers across the country and abroad. The results will be declared in 15 days, "he said.

Keep in mind that the class 12 mark sheet will include information such as the name of the student, subject-wise marks, theory and practical marks, and the pass or fail status. Students are advised to check their marksheets carefully and if any error is noticed, take part in the verification process starting from 6 August.

• To check the CBSE Compartment Result 2025, follow these steps:
• Visit the official CBSE website at results.cbse.nic.in
• Look for the "Supplementary Examination Result 2025" link on the homepage.
• Choose the link that matches your class, either 10th or 12th.
• Click on the link to go to the result login page.
• Enter your admission card ID, school number, and roll number in the required fields.
• Click the submit button.
• Your result will then be displayed on the screen.
• Carefully review the details on your digital scorecard.
• Download the result and print a copy for your records.

10 Class Result

The 10th class supplementary exams were held on July 15, 2025. The 12th class supplementary exams took place on July 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, and 22, 2025. Most exams started at 10:30 AM and ended at 1:30 PM, while a few subjects had exams from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. All students should keep checking the official website for any important updates.
