CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke to return India on June 6 (Img: Internet)
New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Monday announced that he will return to India on June 6 to lead a peaceful protest in Delhi over alleged examination-related lapses and controversies.
In a video message shared on Instagram, Dipke appealed to students and supporters to join him in demanding accountability from the government and seeking the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Dipke said the proposed protest would follow constitutional and democratic methods and urged people to raise their voices peacefully. “The time has come for all of us to come together and peacefully raise our voices,” he said in the video message while calling on supporters to participate in the demonstration.

According to Dipke, he plans to arrive in Delhi on the morning of June 6 and asked supporters to gather at the airport before proceeding to the Parliament Street Police Station to seek permission for a protest at Jantar Mantar.
He alleged that repeated examination-related controversies had caused anxiety among students and stressed the need for accountability in the education system.
The announcement comes amid an ongoing legal dispute regarding the blocking of the Cockroach Janta Party’s account on social media platform X.
Dipke has approached the Delhi High Court challenging the government’s decision to withhold the account on grounds linked to national security. He has claimed the action was aimed at suppressing the movement and limiting its outreach among young people.
The Delhi High Court, however, declined to grant immediate relief in the matter during a recent hearing. Following the suspension, the group reportedly resumed activity online using the name “Cockroach is Back”.

The Cockroach Janta Party gained public attention after remarks attributed to Chief Justice of India Surya Kant during a court hearing related to the “senior” designation of lawyers sparked controversy online.
The remarks involving references to “cockroaches” and “parasites” were widely circulated on social media. However, the Chief Justice later clarified that his observations had been misquoted and were directed at individuals allegedly entering the legal profession through fake degrees.
Since its formation, the CJP has attracted attention on social media and received support from several public figures and student groups.
