Congress party spokesperson Ashutosh told Dynamite News that the objective of the proposed protest at Jantar Mantar is to raise issues of public interest against the government. He stated that formal permission for the protest has been sought from the Delhi Police and the process is currently underway. Ashutosh also mentioned that the demand for Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation would be one of the key issues raised during the protest.
'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP) is urging supporters, who had initially gathered at the Sansad Marg police station ahead of the protest, to proceed directly to Jantar Mantar.
