New Delhi: The protest at India Gate against the deteriorating air quality in Delhi on Tuesday went off without a break. During the protest, protesters chanted slogans in support of slain Naxalite commander Hidma. The young protesters carried posters and placards demanding a change in the system.
Protesters used pepper spray on a police team, injuring three to four policemen. All the policemen have been admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital and are undergoing treatment. Police reported that the injured personnel suffered eye irritation and temporary injuries.
