New Delhi: Traffic will be affected on several major routes in the capital Delhi on Saturday (February 21) due to the AI Impact Summit-2026. The event is being held at Bharat Mandapam, where a large number of VVIP guests and participants are expected to arrive. In view of this, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued a detailed traffic advisory to ensure smooth traffic flow in the city.
According to the Delhi Traffic Police, vehicular movement will be controlled in and around Bharat Mandapam from 9 am to 8 pm on Saturday. Due to heavy crowds and security concerns, diversions will be implemented on some routes. Police stated that traffic rules will be strictly enforced during this period, and additional restrictions may be imposed if necessary.

Traffic will be affected on Bhairon Road, Bhagwan Das Road, Purana Qila Road, and Mathura Road due to the AI Summit. Traffic jams are expected on these routes. In such a situation, the public has been appealed to avoid using these routes and resort to alternative routes.

Travelers have been advised to use Tilak Marg, Sikander Road, and Ring Road. Reaching their destination via these routes will be relatively easy and convenient. The police have clarified that on-site personnel may make changes to the routes depending on traffic conditions.
Traffic police have appealed to citizens to plan their travels before leaving home and allow extra time. Avoid affected routes whenever possible and follow the instructions of on-duty traffic police.
The police have also stated that using public transportation may be a better option. Security will be tight during the event, so passengers have been urged to cooperate. The administration's aim is to minimize inconvenience to the public and maintain normal traffic flow in the capital.
