Diwali-Chhath Special Trains: 38 trains to run for several states including Delhi

According to the railway administration, 18 trains will run from Gorakhpur to Anand Vihar and Delhi via Lucknow, while eight trains will run to Mumbai. Additionally, trains to Sealdah, Ranchi, Udhna, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Narangi, and Hasanpur will also run via Gorakhpur.

New Delhi: In view of the expected rush of passengers on the occasion of Diwali and Chhath, the railway administration has prepared to run 38 special trains via Gorakhpur. Some of these trains have already been extended. These trains will run for Delhi, Mumbai, Punjab, Gujarat, and Bihar. Most of the special trains currently have vacant berths. You can make your journey easier by reserving a seat.

18 Trains Will Run From Anand Vihar
According to the railway administration, 18 trains will run from Gorakhpur to Anand Vihar and Delhi via Lucknow, while eight trains will run to Mumbai. Additionally, trains to Sealdah, Ranchi, Udhna, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Narangi, and Hasanpur will also run via Gorakhpur.

Seats in These Trains Are Full
Regular trains like Gorakhdham, Vaishali, Bihar Sampark Kranti, Humsafar, Kushinagar, LTT Superfast, and Purvanchal are already full. In such a situation, special trains can be a better option for passengers.

Northeastern Railway operates 122 special trains
NER CPRO Pankaj Kumar Singh stated that Northeastern Railway is operating a total of 122 special trains for the festivals from Dussehra to Chhath. Most of these trains also run via Gorakhpur. By booking tickets on these trains, passengers can choose a better travel option.
