Taj Mahal showcases peace and harmony
Agra: People of the Muslim community, on the occasion of Bakrid on Saturday morning, offered Namaz at the historic Shahi Mosque in Agra. During the Namaz, prayers were offered for peace, tranquility, and prosperity in the country. After the Namaz, people hugged each other and wished each other Eid Mubarak and shared the happiness of the festival.
The special thing was that on this occasion, free entry was arranged for two hours in the Taj Mahal. Due to which, along with the Namazis, tourists also got a chance to see the Taj for free.
According to the information received by the Dynamite News correspondent, as soon as the news of free entry to the Taj Mahal on Bakrid spread, a large number of tourists reached to see the monument.
Long queues were seen at the entry gates since morning. There was a lot of enthusiasm among domestic and foreign tourists to see this religious occasion.
Namaz was offered in all the major mosques of the city.
Apart from the Taj Mahal, Bakrid prayers were also offered in Agra's Shahi Idgah, Jama Masjid, and other major mosques. As soon as morning dawned, thousands of people headed towards mosques for namaz.
Everywhere, people were seen immersed in worship, giving the message of unity and brotherhood. Along with Agra, the festival of Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated with full devotion and harmony in districts like Fatehpur Sikri, Firozabad, Shikohabad, Mathura, Mainpuri, Etah, and Kasganj.
A large number of Namazis also offered Namaz at the Shahi Idgah in Mathura, and people hugged each other and congratulated each other on the festival.
Tight security arrangements are made
The police administration was fully alert on this important occasion. All prominent mosques and public areas were placed under strict security measures. Along with the deployment of police force, monitoring was being done through drone cameras and CCTV so that there is no chaos anywhere.
