Haridwar: Senior journalist Manoj Tibrewal Aakash was honored at the centenary celebrations of the All World Gayatri Pariwar. Expressing his gratitude, he thanked the entire Gayatri Pariwar and its head, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, saying the recognition will inspire him to continue journalism for public welfare.
The centenary celebrations of the Gayatri Pariwar will continue until January 24, featuring numerous programs aimed at promoting public welfare and world peace. Several central ministers, bureaucrats, and prominent personalities attended the events and addressed the gathering.
The first-day programs were addressed by Dr. Chinmay Pandya, head of the Gayatri Pariwar, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Dr. Chinmay Pandya elaborated on the 100-year journey of the Gayatri Pariwar and called upon its members to dedicate themselves to world peace and public welfare. He paid tribute to the Pariwar’s key figures, including Mata Bhagwati Devi and founder Acharya Pandit Shri Ram Sharma, describing them as visionary leaders and sages.
Dr. Pandya announced that during the convocation ceremony, over 1,500 students will be awarded undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. He emphasized that the event reinforces the distinct identity of higher education rooted in Indian culture. The program will also see the presence of spiritual leaders and state Education Minister Dhansingh Rawat.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, in his address, highlighted India’s cultural resurgence under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He noted that India, once trapped in a mindset of subjugation, is now taking pride in its cultural values and heritage.
The centenary celebration has drawn participants from across India and abroad, including members of the Gayatri Pariwar and numerous dignitaries and common citizens. The event underscores the Pariwar’s commitment to combining spirituality, education, and social welfare.
