Gujarat: Car falls into river due to heavy rain in Botad, 7 people of same family die

Gandhinagar: A tragic accident took place in Botad district of Gujarat on Monday night amid heavy rain.

An Eco car overturned in the river between Lathidad and Sagavadar villages, 9 people of the same family were in the car. 7 people died in this accident while two people were rescued in time.

As soon as the accident was reported, the administration and relief teams reached the spot.

Priyankbhai Chauhan and one of his relatives were evacuated safely at the same time. The remaining 7 people in the car were swept away in the strong current.

After which the NDRF and local administration team started the rescue operation from the night itself.
