Rudraprayag: A shockwave has clutched the whole region of Char Dham Yatra after a chopper carrying seven people, including pilot, from Kedarnath to Guptkashi crashed near Gaurikund on Sunday early morning hear in Rudraprayag, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
This crash is the 5th such incident in 2 months in this area.
The helicopter belonged to Aryan Company and was coming from Kedarnath to Guptkashi and crashed near the forest of Gaurikund due to bad weather.
It is being said that this incident happened around 7:00 in the morning. When the Aryan Helicopter was coming from Kedarnath to Guptkashi, the helicopter crashed near Kachula Khark forest due to bad weather. 5 adults, a child and the pilot are feared dead in this accident.
According to the information, a couple and their 23-month-old child have also become victims of the accident. At the same time, two people in the helicopter are also being said to be local people. It is being said that the bodies are badly burnt.

Expressing grief over this tragic accident, the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami said that very sad news has been received about the helicopter crash in Rudraprayag district. SDRF, local administration and other rescue teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations. I pray to Baba Kedar for the safety of all the passengers.

The deceased have been identified
They include Tusti Singh, Vinod, Vikram Singh, Rajkumar Jaiswal, Shraddha Jaiswal, Kashi Jaiswal and Captain Rajiv. This helicopter has fallen in the forest above Gauri Mai Khark.

District Tourism Development Officer and Nodal Heli Service Rahul Chaubey said that information about a helicopter missing was received this morning. As soon as the information was received, it was investigated and searched. According to preliminary information, a helicopter of Aryan Aviation was bringing passengers back from Shri Kedarnath Dham to its Guptkashi base, the weather suddenly deteriorated in the valley.
The pilot tried to take the helicopter out of the valley but during this time the helicopter crashed. Apart from the pilot, five passengers and an infant were also on board the helicopter.
All rescue teams including NDRF, SDRF, police force are still engaged in rescue and relief work with the help of local people, an update will be given soon on the whole matter.
