Mumbai: The Mahayuti alliance has finalised its seat-sharing formula for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, putting an end to weeks of negotiations between its key constituents.

As per the agreement, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest 137 seats, while the Shiv Sena will field candidates in 90 seats.

Both parties have also decided to allocate a portion of their respective quotas to smaller allied parties within the Mahayuti alliance.
