Mainpuri: Late on Sunday night, drunk goons created a ruckus at a Muslim hotel located on Agra Road in the city. Beat up a hotel employee, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

This has been started with a minor altercation, which soon took a violent turn. It is alleged that the accused not only beat up the employee, but also forced him to chant religious and political slogans.

Goons Beat Up While Eating

The incident is being reported at Delhi Chicken Point located on Agra Road, where some youths first misbehaved with the hotel staff while eating and then started beating them in a drunken state. According to eyewitnesses, the goons forcibly forced the hotel employee to chant slogans of "Jai Shri Ram" and "Down with Pakistan".

Incident Captured In CCTV

The entire incident has been recorded in the CCTV cameras installed in the hotel, in which the actions of the miscreants can be clearly seen. On the basis of the footage, the police took immediate cognizance and registered a case against the unknown attackers and their search has been started.

Police Administration Active

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and questioned the hotel owner. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, senior police officers also came into action. SP City Arun Kumar Singh himself confirmed the incident and said that the culprits have been identified and will be arrested soon.

SP City Mainpuri Arun Kumar Singh said that the incident is very unfortunate. The accused are being identified on the basis of CCTV footage. No one is above the law, strict action will be taken against the culprits.

After the incident, there was tension in the area for some time, but the police controlled the situation in time. Officials have appealed to the public to maintain peace and advised them not to pay attention to rumors.
