Jaipur: News of a horrific accident has emerged on the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway. Reports indicate that a tanker carrying LPG gas suddenly overturned near the Sawarda culvert, sparking a fire and loud explosions. The accident has created panic and terror throughout the area.
The accident occurred near the Sawarda culvert, where a gas tanker traveling on the highway was hit from behind by a trailer. The impact was so severe that the truck carrying the gas cylinders overturned and immediately caught fire. Following this, a series of explosions erupted, with cylinders heard up to 10 kilometers away.
After the fire, the cylinders began to fly around with explosions. According to eyewitnesses, cylinders were seen flying up to 200 meters and falling into nearby fields. The scene was so horrific that people rushed out of their homes, and chaos erupted on the road.

About 20 vehicles traveling nearby were reportedly damaged in the accident. The accident occurred some distance from a residential area, preventing major damage. However, the fire and explosions devastated the entire area.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police and fire brigade teams from nearby police stations, including Dudu, rushed to the scene and began extinguishing the fire. The fire department is still trying to control the blaze.
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed deep condolences over this tragic accident. He immediately spoke with the District Collector and Superintendent of Police to inquire about the situation and instructed them to be vigilant in relief operations. He also stated that the state government will provide all possible assistance.
