At a grand ceremony celebrating the 10th anniversary of India’s popular news channel Dynamite News, the prestigious Young India Country Award 2025 was held with great splendour.

New Delhi: The Constitution Club of India in the National Capital witnessed an evening of historic moments and positive change on Thursday. The occasion marked the 10th anniversary of Dynamite News and the grand and dignified ceremony of the Young India Country Award 2025. The event brought together several eminent personalities from across the country to honour extraordinary young achievers who have made remarkable contributions to society and inspired change.

The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Union Minister for Commerce & Industry Shri Piyush Goyal, while Dr DY Chandrachud, the 50th Chief Justice of India, graced the event as the Keynote Speaker. Justice Rajesh Bindal of the Supreme Court and Dr Anil Agarwal, former Rajya Sabha MP, attended as Special Guests.

Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Dynamite News, Manoj Tibrewal Aakash, and Chairperson Rani Tibrewal were also present on the occasion.

The packed Speakers Hall of the Constitution Club echoed with thunderous applause as three exceptional young women were conferred with the Young India Country Award 2025 for their outstanding contributions and efforts towards social change.

Manu Bhaker, the talented shooter who brought glory to India by winning two medals at the Paris Olympics; Ruma Devi, an icon of women’s empowerment and an inspiration to thousands for her journey from struggle to success; and Divya Deshmukh, India’s young chess Grandmaster who has won two golds and one bronze at the Women’s Chess Olympiad, were honoured with the Young India Country Award 2025.

Each awardee received a citation, memento, shawl, and a cash prize of ₹1 lakh.

Addressing the gathering, Union Minister Piyush Goyal praised Dynamite News and said, “Senior journalist Manoj Tibrewal Aakash took a bold step by leaving his government job at Doordarshan to establish his own news channel. Today, Dynamite News is not only providing employment to hundreds of people but has also become a powerful medium for positive change.”

He added that recognizing and honouring young achievers through such an award is an inspiring initiative and lauded Dynamite News for this commendable effort.

50th Chief Justice of India Dr DY Chandrachud, in his keynote address, remarked, “Through the energy and dedication of Manoj Tibrewal Aakash, Dynamite News has achieved a significant position in the country. It is heartening that all the awardees this year are women, making this initiative a symbol of women’s empowerment.” He congratulated Dynamite News and its founder for this visionary campaign.

The former CJI further observed that India’s landscape has changed remarkably, “Today, women are serving across all domains, even on warships, reflecting the spirit of a New India. The fact that all awardees are women is not a coincidence but a reflection of this transformation. Recognitions like these motivate women to move forward with confidence.”

He added, “True journalism lies in the pursuit of truth. When we walk the path of truth, accuracy becomes our greatest responsibility — that is the essence of journalism.”

During the inaugural session, Manoj Tibrewal Aakash warmly welcomed all dignitaries, while Chairperson Rani Tibrewal expressed gratitude by presenting bouquets to the guests.

The Award Jury comprised Justice (Retd.) Ranjana Desai, Chairperson of the Press Council of India; Sanjay Kothari, Member-Secretary of the One Nation, One Election High-Level Committee and Senior IAS officer; Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar; and Dr MC Mishra, former Director of AIIMS, New Delhi.

In the closing session, Executive Editor Subhash Raturi extended a vote of thanks to all dignitaries and attendees.

The event was graced by several distinguished guests including U.P. Cabinet Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh, MP Lahar Singh Siroya, Former Rajya Sabha Secretary-General Desh Deepak Verma, senior IAS officers Dinesh Tyagi and Sanjeev Mittal, along with eminent figures from the judiciary, bureaucracy, education, politics, sports, industry, and media.
