New Delhi: In the wake of the tragic aircraft accident near Baramati, which involved Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar among the passengers, according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Ministry acted promptly. Ensuring a thorough, transparent, and time-bound inquiry is a top priority.

Investigation Teams Deployed

On 28 January, teams from the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB), Delhi, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Mumbai Regional Office, were immediately dispatched to the crash site. AAIB Director General, G V G Yugandhar, also arrived the same day to oversee the investigation, according to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
