Interrogations by the NIA and UP ATS have revealed that Dr. Shaheen was tasked with a specific mission to mentally influence doctors in Uttar Pradesh. It has also been revealed that Shaheen received formal "brainwashing training," through which she was tasked with gradually converting the doctors to the organization's ideology and preparing them as modules.
These revelations revealed during the investigation clearly indicate that terrorist organizations were systematically targeting the educated class, especially those in the medical profession.
Interrogation revealed that Shaheen was in contact with three doctors from Kanpur and Saharanpur. These doctors were on the verge of joining Shaheen's organization. It is reported that Shaheen met them personally three to four times. During these meetings, she attempted to explain the organization's ideology and gradually influence them.
However, these doctors were not fully informed of the organization's true objectives and terrorist activities. They were to be used in a larger network.

According to sources within the investigating agencies, Muzammil and Dr. Adil initially influenced Dr. Shaheen. She was given special training on how to gain access to the medical community and psychologically prepare doctors for anti-India activities.
To this end, Shaheen was provided with videos and digital material, which she used to influence the doctors. Agencies believe that Shaheen was playing a key role as a "connector" in the module.
Sources indicate that Shaheen had already advanced significantly in her goal before the NIA's action. She was attempting to connect with doctors in Uttar Pradesh, but the agencies' swift action uncovered the entire network in time. This not only foiled a major terrorist plot but also yielded several important clues.
The NIA and UP ATS are now interrogating three doctors with whom Shaheen was in contact. It is believed that more elements of this module may emerge in the coming days. The investigation into the Delhi blasts is constantly taking new turns, and the possibility of a larger network being exposed cannot be ruled out.
