New Delhi: 26/11 Mumbai terror attack accused Tahawwur Rana will be produced in Patiala House Court today. He is being brought back to court after the completion of 18 days of custody by NIA, reports Dynamite News correspondent. Given the sensitivity of the case, tight security arrangements have been made in the Patiala House Court premises.

Deployment of Delhi Police and paramilitary forces has been increased outside the Patiala House Court. Barricades have been put up in the court premises and the entire area is being monitored with CCTV cameras. Security forces have issued a high alert as the NIA plans to produce Rana in court after 2 pm.
What will happen after 18 days of custody?
Tahwur Rana was in NIA custody for the last 18 days, where he was questioned about the 26/11 attack and his connections. Now the NIA will produce him in the court of Special Judge Chandrajit Singh and may possibly seek custody for another 10 to 12 days.

Tahwur Rana is accused of colluding with the accused in the 26/11 attack. He was brought to India from Pakistan and has been in NIA custody since then. He is accused of having links with the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.
