Nitish Kumar will be sworn in as a member of the Upper House in the chamber of Rajya Sabha Chairman C. P. Radhakrishnan. He is expected to step down as Chief Minister after becoming a Rajya Sabha member, paving the way for the formation of a new government in Bihar.
