Now Instantly Check Your PF Balance Online Using DigiLocker

EPFO introduces a new feature enabling members to access PF balance, UAN card, and pension orders through DigiLocker. The update simplifies account management, with offline balance checking also available via SMS or missed call for added convenience.

New Delhi: The government is continuously working towards providing better digital facilities to its employees. In this regard, the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has further modernized its services.

Now, members can view documents and balance information related to their PF account directly through the DigiLocker app. Previously, this facility was only available on the UMANG app, but now the process has become even easier through DigiLocker.

What can be viewed on DigiLocker?

EPFO members can now download several important documents from the DigiLocker app, including:

  • UAN Card (Universal Account Number Card)
  • Pension Payment Order (PPO)
  • PF Certificate and Passbook

EPFO Allows Full PF Withdrawal

To use this new EPFO ​​facility, you need to follow a few simple steps:

First, download the DigiLocker app on your mobile phone.

  • If you are a new user, register and log in.
  • Now you will have to link your EPFO ​​account with DigiLocker in the app.
  • For this, enter your Aadhaar card details so that your identity can be verified.
  • After the linking process is complete, your PF account will be synced with DigiLocker.
  • Now you can view or download documents like the UAN card, PPO, and PF passbook by going to the EPFO ​​section of the app.
  • You can also easily view your PF balance and transaction history in the same app.

How to check PF balance without internet?

Even if you don't have internet access, you can still find out your PF balance. There are two easy ways:

Via SMS: Type a message from your registered mobile number—EPFOHO—and send it to 7738299899. You will receive information about your PF balance via SMS within a few seconds.

By missed call: You can also find out your PF balance by giving a missed call to the official number issued by EPFO. The number details are available on the EPFO ​​website.
