London: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in London on Wednesday on a historic visit to the United Kingdom, where he was given a grand welcome by the NRI community.
The atmosphere of the streets of London became enthusiastic with the slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Modi-Modi" along with the Indian tricolor. This is Prime Minister Modi's fourth visit to Britain.
Many people expressed their excitement and admiration after meeting PM Modi. They described the experience emotionally overwhelming.
PM Modi arrived in the United Kingdom on Wednesday in the first leg of his two-nation visit to strengthen bilateral ties by signing a Free Trade Agreement.

The NRIs welcomed him on his arrival in traditional attire holding the tricolor. The Prime Minister accepted everyone's greetings with a smile and showed intimacy by shaking hands with many people.

During the visit, final consensus is likely to be reached on the much-awaited Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and Britain. This agreement will give new impetus to trade between the two countries and will also create thousands of employment opportunities in both economies.
Along with this, many bilateral agreements will also be discussed in the field of defense, technology and clean energy. Prime Minister Modi is likely to meet British Monarch Charles III.
