New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally inaugurated 'Kartavya Bhawan' in New Delhi. Addressing the public on this historic occasion, PM Modi said that this building is not just a building but a symbol of realizing the dreams of crores of citizens of the country.

He stressed that this building will become the center of India's development policies and important decisions in 'Amritkaal,' which will determine the direction of the nation's progress.

What is the importance of 'Kartavya Bhawan'?

Center of development policies: PM Modi said that plans for developed India will be made in this building and decisions that shape the future of the country will be taken.

Savings in government expenditure: Earlier, various ministries had to work in rented buildings, which cost Rs 1500 crore annually. The construction of Kartavya Bhawan will reduce this cost.

Symbol of constitutional values: PM said that 'Kartavya Path' and 'Kartavya Bhawan' reflect the basic spirit of India's democracy and Constitution.
