New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a standing ovation as he arrived at the Knesset in Jerusalem on Wednesday, marking a significant moment during his visit to Israel. The reception underscored the strong diplomatic ties that have developed between the two nations in recent years.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed Modi warmly at the parliament. The ceremonial moment reflected the deepening cooperation between the two countries across sectors such as trade, technology, defence and agriculture.

The atmosphere inside the Knesset was celebratory as lawmakers and officials gathered to honour the Indian prime minister during the special session.
