PM Modi’s Strong Message on Independence Day
New Delhi: India is celebrating its 79th Independence Day today, and on this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the country by hoisting the tricolor from the ramparts of the Red Fort. This was his 12th consecutive Independence Day speech, in which he took a tough stand on serious issues like the country's security, economic development, and nuclear threats being given by Pakistan.
Strict warning to Pakistan
PM Modi warned Pakistan in clear words that India will no longer tolerate nuclear threats or support terrorism. He said, "We have decided that we will no longer tolerate nuclear blackmailing. There will be no difference between terrorists and those who support them—they are all enemies of humanity."
He further said that if Pakistan persists in its wrong policies, the Indian Army will retaliate in its own way and time. This statement has come at a time when 100 days of Operation Sindoor have been completed.
This operation is part of India's new strategy, which shows the ability to give a direct answer to enemy countries. In his speech, PM Modi laid special emphasis on the strength of the army and the security policies of the country.
Independence Day theme and security arrangements
This year the theme of Independence Day has been kept as "New India," which reflects the country's development and steps towards self-reliance. A grand ceremony was organized on this occasion at the Red Fort, where tight security arrangements were made.
About 11,000 security personnel and 3,000 traffic policemen were deployed. Apart from this, snipers were deployed on high buildings, and every possible threat was tried to be prevented by using modern technology.
PM Modi's speech
PM Modi's speech on this Independence Day gave a clear message to the country that India will no longer tolerate any threat or terrorism. Also, the country is moving ahead strongly on both economic and strategic fronts. The "New India" will not only be safe and empowered but will also touch new heights of development.
