New Delhi: Amid rising tensions and military activities between India and Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to address the nation today, Monday (May 12, 2025). This address will take place at 8 pm, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

This time is special because both the countries have agreed that they will stop military attacks on land, in the air, and at sea. Meanwhile, talks are also to be held today between the Indian and Pakistani armies at the level of Directors General Military Operations (DGMO).

This address is taking place at a time when India launched Operation Sindoor against terrorists within Pakistan after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, 2025.

Under this operation, India destroyed 9 terrorist bases within Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Pakistan.

The Indian Army says that this terrorist attack was taken upon itself by the Pakistan Army, and after this Pakistan tried to target civilian and military bases of India. In response, the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to Pakistan.

During Operation Sindoor, PM Modi was on a visit to Saudi Arabia. As soon as he got the news of the attack, the Prime Minister immediately cancelled his visit and returned to India.

Many airbases, including Noor Khan, were targeted.

After Pakistan's cowardly act, India also gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. India attacked many airbases of Pakistan, including Noor Khan. After India's response, many videos and pictures also surfaced in which flames were seen burning after the missile attack on Pakistan's airbase.

He held continuous meetings to take stock of the situation and took information from the army. Prime Minister Modi's series of meetings continued even during Operation Sindoor.

Today, Prime Minister Modi held a high-level meeting ahead of the talks between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan, which was also attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.

This meeting was held keeping in mind the security and diplomatic aspects of India. Today's address of the Prime Minister is coming at a crucial time when the possibility of peace is being discussed between the two countries amid the military standoff.

In such a situation, Prime Minister Modi's address and his guidelines on this will be very important.
