New Delhi: The political controversy surrounding Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha appears to be deepening within the party. Following his removal from the post of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha, several party leaders have questioned his performance.

Party Leaders' Allegations

Some AAP leaders have alleged that Raghav Chadha is not effectively raising major national and Punjab issues in Parliament. They say that Raghav sometimes focuses more on minor and trivial matters, such as the price of samosas and tea at the airport.

Amidst the controversy, Raghav Chadha has posted a video on his X account, in which he is seen speaking on Punjab-related issues in Parliament. He said that he "comes from the soil of Punjab" and is proud to represent the state in the House.

Demand for Gurdwara Corridor and Religious Sites

In his speech, he raised the demand for the construction of a corridor between India and Pakistan to Sri Kartarpur Sahib, Sri Panja Sahib, and Sri Nankana Sahib, so that devotees can easily visit.

Major Statement on Farmers and MSP

Raghav Chadha demanded reforms in agricultural policy and called for the legalization of MSP (Minimum Support Price). He said that farmers should receive a minimum secure price for their produce so that they can avoid market uncertainties.

Water and Pollution Crisis in Punjab

He described the increasing air pollution in North India as a serious problem and said that farmers should not be solely blamed for it. He also expressed concern over the falling groundwater level in Punjab, saying that in many areas the water level has dropped to 500-600 feet.

Questions on Funds and Development Plans

Raghav Chadha accused the central government of holding back projects worth thousands of crores of rupees in Punjab. He mentioned funds related to rural development, health, and education, saying that their timely release is essential for the state's development.
