Suspected animal smugglers attacked Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Tripura's Sepahijala district on Friday evening, injuring five soldiers. The attackers also damaged a BSF vehicle. The incident occurred on the Bishalgarh-Kamthana road near the India-Bangladesh border.

An argument broke out between the soldiers and the animal smugglers, which quickly escalated into a violent clash. During this time, the smugglers attacked the soldiers and damaged their vehicle."
The Rural Police have arrested two individuals in connection with the brutal murder of Italy-based NRI Malkit Singh at Raja Sansi in Amritsar. The accused have been identified as Bikramjit Singh alias Bikram and Karan.
The police said that Bikramjit Singh has a long criminal history. He has many cases registered against him under the Explosives Act, Attempt to Murder, and the Arms Act.
