New Delhi: The police have started preparations for the Kanwar Yatra. CCTV cameras are being installed on the Kanwar route. Along with this, police duty points are also being made at various places.

Kanwariyas from Haridwar and Brajghat go to Rampur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Badaun and other districts with Ganga water. These Kanwariyas pass through Moradabad. Due to which, in view of the crowd of Kanwariyas on Delhi Road and Kanth Road, the police administration has prepared a route diversion this time also.
SSP Satpal Antil has inspected the Kanwar routes and alerted the subordinate officers. During this time, along with ensuring the safety of the Kanwariyas, there should be no problem in traffic operation. Complete preparations have been made for this. The first Monday of Sawan is on 14th July.
Route diversion for heavy vehicles including roadways, private buses, dumpers, trucks, tractor-trolleys on Delhi and Kanth Road will be implemented from 6 pm on 11th July. Apart from this, the operation of light four wheelers including cars, pickup vehicles will also be stopped from 8 am on 13th July.
Small vehicles will also be stopped from the morning of 13th

Route diversion: From Moradabad to Meerut and Delhi
All vehicles going from Moradabad to Delhi will go from Moradabad to Bilari, Sambhal, Babrala, Narora, Dibai, Bulandshahr, Secunderabad to Meerut and Delhi and will return by the same route.
From Rampur to Moradabad
Will reach temporary bus stand Azad Nagar via Rampur, Shahabad, Bilari. Will return by the same route.
All preparations have been made to ensure that the Kanwar Yatra is completed peacefully. The Kanwar routes have been inspected. Where duties will be assigned, its points have been made. Agwanpur: Kanwar path will be illuminated with 150 street lights
On the lines of Moradabad city, now preparations are on to decorate the Kanwar path in Agwanpur. Street lights are being installed along the Kanwar route in Agwanpur. Illumination of the Kanwar route will make movement of common people easier. Kanwar Yatra is going to start from July 11 in the month of Sawan. Before this, administrative officials have started filling the potholes on the Kanwar route and making arrangements for lighting.
Nagar Panchayat Chairman Gulzar Khan said that for the first time 150 street lights will be installed on the Kanwar route in the limits of Agwanpur. Like Moradabad, the Kanwar route will look beautiful with lights. The work of digging pits for street lights is going on at a fast pace from the overbridge to Sherwa intersection on Kanth Road and from the overbridge to the Kanwar route towards Agwanpur. Street lights will be installed before the Kanwar Yatra.
