SBK Singh Appointed as Delhi's New Police Commissioner

New Delhi: Senior IPS of AGMUT cadre S.B.K. Singh, DG Home Guards, gets additional charge as Commissioner of Delhi Police. He will replace Sanjay Arora, whose tenure ended on July 31, 2025. There had been long-standing speculation over whether the next commissioner would come from other state or the Delhi-UT cadre. Considering experience and service, the government has entrusted SBK Singh with this responsibility.
