Meerut: There is good news for the passengers going from Meerut to Ayodhya to visit Lord Shri Ram and then to Varanasi, the land of Lord Vishwanath. From August 27, the railway has started the reservation process for the Vande Bharat Express train going from Meerut to Varanasi via Ayodhya Dham.
This can be done from the reservation center located at Meerut City Station, Cantt and Chaudhary Charan Singh University campus. The process of reservation through internet started on Thursday night. If you have to go from Meerut to Ayodhya, then the fare for chair car without food will be Rs 1295 and for Varanasi it will be Rs 1540.
The time table of Vande Bharat Express 22489 going from Meerut to Varanasi was also uploaded on Thursday on the app giving information about trains. Earlier, after August 25, no reservation and status information of the train was being given about this train on the railway app.
On July 2, the railways released its time table, but this information was uploaded on the internet app on Thursday. With this, its reservation also started. To go from Meerut to Varanasi, you will have to pay 375 for catering in the chair car and 310 more for Ayodhya.
The executive class fare from Meerut to Varanasi including catering is 3525 rupees. This includes 470 rupees for catering. Chair car from Varanasi to Meerut including catering will be 2140 rupees and 3765 rupees. The fare from this fare and the railway reservation center will be even less.
Varun Goyal of VK Computer of Jailchungi and Sumit Gupta of Shastri Nagar, who made online reservation at Jailchungi, said that many people applied at night itself. Vande Bharat has a total of 478 seats in the chair car and 52 seats in the executive class. Currently, this train is going till Lucknow.
More than half of the seats in it are going empty. The railways have suffered a loss of crores. Now, with the operation of trains to Lord Ram's city Ayodhya and Lord Vishwanath's land Varanasi, the interest of passengers towards the train will increase.
The train will cover the distance of 782.22 km from Meerut to Varanasi in 11 hours 50 minutes. For return, the train will take 11 hours 55 minutes. The train will leave from Meerut at 6:35 am and reach Ayodhya Dham at 3:53 and Varanasi at 6:25 pm. While the train will leave from Varanasi at 9:10 am and reach Meerut City Station at 9:05 pm.
