First, he used to befriend unknown people on messaging apps, dating platforms or social media and then bring them to apps like WhatsApp or Telegram. After this, first a friendly message is sent and then gradually tasks like liking videos on TikTok are given to the users. Then the user is also asked to put money in the crypto account on the pretext of investment. In which the new scam-spotting tool is helping a lot. Not only this, WhatsApp has also added some new safety features for this. Now users get an alert on group joining. That is, when an unknown person adds you to a group, the app already shows you the complete information of that group. Apart from this, now the app also gives Unknown Chat Warning. That is, if you start chatting with someone who is not in your contact list, WhatsApp will send you an alert and will also give information about that user.
