Telangana: K Kavitha suspended from party after blaming senior BRS leader T Harish Rao

Rao is a cousin of Telengana lawmaker K Kavitha, and she alleged that he was involved in the federal investigation against KCR.

Hydrabad: K Kavitha, daughter of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Chief K Chandrashekar Rao and Former Chief Minister of Telangana, has been suspended from party after she publicly blamed senior BRS leader T Harish Rao.

According to a report, Rao is a cousin of Telengana lawmaker K Kavitha, and she alleged that he was involved in the federal investigation against KCR.

Kavitha had alleged that the investigation against her father was being done because of Harish Rao's collusion with Revanth Reddy.

KCR expelled his daughter from the party after Kavitha targeted cousin and former minister Harish Rao.

KCR's son KTR is currently the working president of BRS. Gaurav has handed over the investigation of alleged corruption in Telangana's Kaleshwaram project to the CBI. This project was built when KCR was the CM.

Tussle between brother and sister

There was a long standing tussle between brother KTR and sister K Kavitha over succession in Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS). Kavitha had accused brother KTR of trying to merge the party with BJP by giving wrong information to K Chandrasekhar Rao. She had given a statement that her father KCR is God, who is surrounded by devils. Recently, she was again targeting KTR supporting leaders by calling KCR the supreme leader.

KCR angry with daughter's statement
On Tuesday, a meeting of the top leaders of the party was held at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. In which K Kavitha's attitude was discussed. According to sources, K Chandrashekhar Rao was also said to be angry with the statements of daughter K Kavitha.

After this, it was decided to expel her from the party. KCR's party BRS, which was out of power after being the CM for more than 10 years, is the main opposition party in Telangana. KCR's daughter K Kavitha also had to go to jail in the Delhi liquor scam. She is currently a member of the Legislative Council.

Earlier, she has been an MLA. After coming into politics, she made a big name in BRS. K Kavitha is the founder of Telangana Jagruthi.
