New Delhi: Telangana's Goshamahal MLA and firebrand leader T. Raja Singh has resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party. For the past few days, he was having differences with the state leadership of the party. In fact, the BJP high command decided to appoint N. Ramachandra Rao as the president of the state unit, which angered Raja Singh. Due to this displeasure, he has submitted his resignation to state president.

Raja Singh described his resignation as a symbol of the sentiments of lakhs of party workers and said that this decision is emotionally difficult for him, but it was necessary. In a letter to BJP state president G. Kishan Reddy, he said that there is deep dissatisfaction among the workers and leaders over the appointment of N. Ramachandra Rao. He alleged that some people have got this decision done by misleading the central leadership for their personal interests, which is against the welfare of the party.
