New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh hit back at the decision of seven party MPs-including Raghav Chadha-to quit the party and join the BJP, stating that the people of Punjab will never forgive them.

Sanjay Singh asserted that these individuals have betrayed the people of Punjab. He added, "My heart is deeply distressed today; a good government is currently functioning there, and Bhagwant Mann is doing excellent work for the people of the state, yet the ED and CBI are being weaponized against him."

In his press conference, Sanjay Singh took a sharp dig at everyone from Raghav Chadha to Harbhajan Singh, stating that the very party which elevated these individuals to the status of MLAs, MPs, and so forth, is the one they are betraying today.

Sanjay Singh also addressed the matter of Ashok Mittal, who has been appointed as the party's Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha, replacing Raghav Chadha. He pointed out that just two days ago, the ED had raided Ashok Mittal, and now-as is evident today-look at what has transpired. "Observe the timing of all these events," Sanjay remarked.
