Jammu: A drone was discovered inside a house in Dhok Jagir village in the Akhnoor sector of Jammu region on Saturday, causing a stir. The device was found inside a local resident's home, prompting the police to immediately report the incident. Initially considered suspicious, the area was put on high alert.
Upon receiving the information, a team from the Akhnoor Police Station arrived at the scene, took the drone into custody, and began an investigation. Police inspected the area and confiscated the drone for technical examination. Keeping safety in mind, residents were also questioned.
After a preliminary investigation, officials clarified that the recovered device was not a dangerous device but a toy drone. It posed no security threat. Police expressed relief, stating that it was merely a normal toy, requiring no concern.
