A suspected Pakistani intruder was apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF) from Akhnoor sector along the International Border (IB) area last night while he was trying to sneak in into the Indian side.
Pakistan fired mortar shells and small arms in the Akhnoor and Sunderbani sectors along the Line of Control, drawing a retaliation from the Indian Army.
The first attack took place when the terrorists hurled a grenade at CRPF 82 Battalion in Fateh Kadal’s Chinkral Mohalla area, injuring three CRPF personnel and one civilian.
