UP Board Result: 91.44% Ghazipur students achieve success; Girls in top-10

Ghazipur: The students of Ghazipur district have performed well in the high school examination results declared by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) on Friday, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

This time 91.44 percent of the students of the district have passed the examination. The special thing is that two girl students of Ghazipur - Ganga Maurya and Anita Yadav- have been included in the top-10 list of the state.

Ganga Maurya has secured seventh position in the state with 96.83 percent by scoring 581 marks in her examination. She is a student of Lourdes Convent School, Tulsi Sagar. At the same time, Anita Yadav has scored 579 marks, which stood ninth in the state with 96.50 percent. Anita is a student of SCSAIC Salempur Bagai.

This year, the High School and Intermediate examination of the Board of Secondary Education in Ghazipur district started from February 24, in which 67,348 for high school and 77,024 for intermediate, a total of 1,44,372 candidates had registered. 196 examination centers were set up in the district for conducting the examination, including 12 government, 74 funded and 110 self-financed schools. This examination ended on March 12.

The evaluation of answer sheets started from March 19, for which five centers were set up in the city and rural areas. The evaluation work was to be completed by March 30, and according to the final data, the copies were successfully evaluated in the district by March 28.

This year's result in Ghazipur has not only shown the hard work and dedication of the students, but it also shows that the participation of girls in education is constantly increasing. The girls getting place in the top-10 makes it clear that the educational standards of the schools of Ghazipur are increasing.
